2009 - Four Nations - August 2009

The 4 Nations Tour - August 2009 With the Euro being so strong this year we planned a tour with a difference. Ten Club members gathered in Caernarfon for a relaxing evening prior to heading for Holyhead and the Stena HSS Service to Dun Laoghaire. 2010 - Germany and Austria - June 2010

Partitour to Germany, Austria and (briefly) the Italian Dolomites. Go here to see some photo's from the trip

2010 - East Germany - September 2010

A tour of the former East Germany, mainly based on two night stops with opportunities to visit local attractions including castles, gardens and steam trains. Places on the route include Worlitz, Oberweisental, Bad Schandau, Bertsdorf and Potsdam, before moving on to the Baltic coast. To read how they got on, see here.

2010 - Ypres, Belgium - April 2010

At the 4* Hotel Ariane in Ypres over the Easter Weekend, including dinner and continental breakfast. Lots of WW1 sits of note in the area, with the historic cities of Bruges and Ghent within easy reach

2010 - Italy - July 2010

Out and back via Germany with a six night stopover eithe by the Italian Lakes or in the Dolomites. So see how they got one, go here

2010 - Southern France - May 2010

A relaxed tour including 4 3 night stops in the hilly and scenic areas either side of the Rhone valley south of Lyon. Shorter stops at Auxerre and Troyes on the way out and back. Lots of fine scenery and within striking distance of the Mediterranean coast, should you fancy it. Max 20 people Read it about here

2011 - Spain & Portugal - June 2011

Another sucessful and good value tour of Iberia - and still a lot more places to see yet. This tour used Brittany Ferries - Portsmouth to Santander. The route took in a few World Heritage sites along the way staying at such places as Burgos and Palencia. Tour report and Pictures here

2011 - Honfleur, France - April 2011

In April 2011, thirteen club members set of for a long weekend in Honfleur. The excellent April weather we enjoyed in the UK extended to Northern France too, so it was sunshine all round. For a few more details, click here

2011 - Newmarket Dinner - March 2011

Annual Dinner at the Heath Court Hotel. En-suite room with breakfast, three course meal followed by coffee & mints. £59 per person

2011 - The Balkans - August 2011

A tour to Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia-Herzegovina, visiting (amongst other places) Mostar, Sarajevo and Dubrovnik. Lots of history, stunning scenery and above all, wonderful roads.
